A designer who works with people for people to create enticing digital experiences.
UBConnect was introduced to a new Identity platform where the culture of the company became united considering their branches worldwide. Based on the new identity platform, I prepared a new visual identity guideline with a focus on sustainability, people, and innovation. The new brand manual lays down guidelines for the visual expression of UBConnect on all surfaces.
In addition, I designed UBConnect's new website. The website was created with the HubSpot CMS to ensure a comprehensive customer journey on all surfaces. By adopting HubSpot, the customer has gained simple administration as well as good insight into the usage pattern of visitors to the website and sees this in the context of marketing initiatives and other direct customer contacts.

The new brand manual consists of new typography, a new color pallet, icons, illustrations, and imagery.

The old website was outdated and had a confusing structure/architecture with repetitive information on various sub-pages. In addition, the content appeared to be in two different categories that could function independently of each other. Some of the content appeared to be aimed at students, teachers, and parents alike, while the remaining content was a series of inspirational videos aimed mainly at students. At the same time, the old website needed an improvement in user-friendliness, with regard to navigation through the sub-pages. NSR also wanted a minimalistic and serious look for the new website and also a promotional page for all the videos.
I analyzed the old website's structure and designed a thorough architecture for the new website, with a particular focus on user-friendliness. The result was a modern and minimalist website according to NSR's brand manual, to meet their needs. In addition, we designed a landing page called X-Factor that contains all the inspiring videos.

Background
Møller felt that their old website has improvement potential within two aspects, respectively 'navigation and user experience' and 'visual expression'. The website had the feel of being a "patchwork quilt", which has been adapted over time as Møller's needs have changed and the content on the website has grown. This ultimately resulted in a design, navigation, and interface that was no longer coherent or user-friendly, for neither visitors to the website nor the editors themselves in Møller. Møller also experienced the website's visual expression as somewhat dark and 'not welcome', and saw it as appropriate to look at this in connection with the rest of the challenges on the website.
Møller wanted TRY to update and improve its current website. This involved upgrading and adjusting the visual identity, designing a new front page, and updating the content structure and navigation, as well as improvements to the user interface on the existing CMS (Craft CMS).

Based on the scope and need of the projects I usually start with setting up a design system and implementing the brand guidelines of the client before I make the wireframes and sketches.

I am a passionate designer who bridges user insight, technology and strategy goals to create delightful user experiences. I am interested in learning about people (users), their behavioral and navigational attitudes while interacting with a digital product. Curious by nature, I enjoy challenging the status quo by asking WHY instead of HOW making sure that we won’t fall in love with our very first solution. To me it is important that my design drives the business goals as well as delivering value to the users. Every design ends up in something that humans interact with, and I love creating things that people like to use.
My curiosity has also taken me into different fields of study from architecture to product design to interaction design. I have a Bachelor of Art in Interior Architecture from my home country, Iran. Inspired by Persian architecture, where functionality meets aesthetic, my focus was also on functionality, accessibility and design to create enticing rooms for the users. Following that I expanded my knowledge into human centric design by pursuing a Master of Science in Industrial Design Engineering at NTNU in Norway.
For the last five years I have worked as UX/UI Designer at RiksTV/Strim and TRY Dig in addition to my volunteering collaboration with Hometrotter and Oslo Pride as a designer. In my professional career I have contributed to cross-functional teams to create intuitive user journeys through translating insights into opportunities for the industry by applying frameworks such as Opportunity Solution Tree (OST). My professional experience includes working on business systems, conversion rate optimization (CRO), user dashboards, landing pages, branding & visual identity, design systems, data visualizations, etc. I thrive working in holistic processes from research and hypothesis to iteration and implementing measurable solutions to further improvements. I enjoy solving challenges and designing solutions that are original, real and well functioning.
When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me in the woods picking mushrooms—or in the kitchen experimenting with flavors and food presentation to design my own culinary experiences. I’m a social person who thrives when collaborating with passionate professionals.
